Housing Strategic Asset Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join Brent Council. We’re looking for an experienced housing and construction professional to be part of our strategic team. You will develop a comprehensive asset management strategy for all housing stock that will return maximum value from the assets, inform and support the Council’s business planning process for capital and revenue spending. Reporting to the Head of Property Services, you’ll be a cohesive part of an intelligent client and make plans to ensure the Council’s assets are fit for purpose for current and future users. Single Homelessness Service Manager
Brent Council is an exciting place to be right now. You will be responsible for guiding, training & supporting a portfolio of homelessness services with the view to tackle long term prevention. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced housing professional to shape the strategic direction of the Single Homelessness Service. You will act as the head of service holding key relationships with external stakeholders across the borough of Brent in the public, private and voluntary sectors. Brent has recently put in place the Prevention and Sustainment Solutions Scheme (PASS) to tackle the issues facing the borough around assessing, referring & preventing the homelessness of single people and childless couples which you will use to measure the services objectives.
